What BGMUN X collects when you register, why, who sees it and when it is deleted.
BGMUN X is run by [to be confirmed], Beaconhouse College Programme, Gujrat Campus, at G.T. Road, near Khatala, Gujrat. Questions about your data: mun.bcpgujrat@gmail.com.
When you register we collect the details on the form:
If you use the contact form or ask to be notified, we keep your message and email address. We keep a short-lived, scrambled version of your network address to stop spam and repeated sign-in attempts; we do not store the address itself.
To check that you are eligible, verify your payment, allocate committees and countries, issue your pass, run check-in on the day, and write to you about your registration. We collect only what these need.
Many delegates are under 18. The form asks you to confirm that your school or parent or guardian knows you are registering. If you are a parent or guardian and want to see or remove a child's data, write to mun.bcpgujrat@gmail.com.
Only organisers who have been given access, and only the parts they need. Staff sign in with two-step verification. CNIC and B-Form numbers are visible only to organisers with that specific permission. Payment screenshots and receipts are kept in a private store and opened through short-lived links for authorised reviewers only.
We use these service providers to run the site: a database and file store (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), web hosting (Render) and, when switched on, spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Your data may therefore be stored or processed outside Pakistan. We do not sell your data, show advertising or use session replay. There is no analytics at launch.
Photos and video are taken at the event. See the media notice in the terms.
Personal data is deleted 4 months after the event. Daily backups are kept until at least two months after the event and are then removed. [to be confirmed].
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to mun.bcpgujrat@gmail.com. Signed-in delegates can delete their account from the account page. This asks for a typed confirmation and an emailed code, and it cannot be undone. Announcement emails carry an unsubscribe link; emails about your own application are sent regardless, because they are part of the service.
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one during the payment step. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page. This is a draft pending review by the college.
