Code of conduct

Treat every person at BGMUN X with courtesy, in committee and outside it. Disagree with ideas, never with people. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, threats and abusive language are not tolerated, online or in person.

• Follow the chair and the rules of procedure for your committee.
• Speak when recognised, and stay on the agenda.
• Represent your country's position, and keep to the character of the role you were given.
• Use devices only as the chair allows.

Do your own work. Do not copy text from other delegates or sources and present it as yours, and do not invent facts or quotations.

Follow instructions from organisers and venue staff. Do not bring anything dangerous or prohibited by the college. Look after the venue and other people's belongings. Tell an organiser at once if you feel unsafe or see something wrong.

Do not post photos, audio or video of others without their consent, and do not post anything that mocks or targets another delegate or the organisers.

The organisers may give a warning, remove a delegate from a session or from the conference, and tell the delegate's school or parent or guardian. Serious cases may be reported to the college. This is a draft pending review by the college.
